Iran’s ‘A Hero’ included on Telluride Film Festival lineup

Iranian feature ‘A Hero’ is included on the lineup of the 48th Telluride Film Festival in the US.

Iranian feature ‘A Hero’ by internationally acclaimed Iranian director Asghar Farhadi has been included on the lineup of the 48th Telluride Film Festival (TFF) in the US.

Telluride Film Festival said ‘A Hero’ will be screened in its main program.

The film is about Rahim, a divorced man who has been imprisoned due to a debt he was unable to repay. During a two-day leave, Rahim tries to prove that he is a good person.

The movie is starring Amir Jadidi, Mohsen Tanabandeh, and Fereshteh Sadre Orafaiy.

Farhadi’s films ‘A Separation’ (2011) and ‘The Salesman’ (2016) won two Oscars for best foreign language film.

According to the website of the Telluride Film Festival, “TFF’s celebration of artistic excellence brings together cinema enthusiasts, filmmakers, and artists to discover the best in world cinema in the beautiful mountain town of Telluride, Colorado.”

The upcoming edition of the Telluride Film Festival will take place on September 2-6.
